• the thick tube frame and ribs are anodized aluminium, which is a superior treatment to powdercoating.  The anodized finish not only enhances the elegant appearance but also ensures excellent corrosion and wear resistance.
• the umbrella canopy fabric is Sunbrella® ‘Coal’
• Sunbrella® fabric has renowned fade and weather resistance properties which keep the Slim Shady cantilever umbrella looking vibrant and beautiful even our harsh New Zealand conditions.
• Sunbrella fabrics hold the ‘Seal of Recommendation’ by The Skin Cancer Foundation.
• we use 304 stainless steel screws and rivets
• made with genuine leather reinforcements on the fabric.
• base is 140 kg and is made up of a set of granite slabs, that are set into a steel base frame on wheels
• the steel base frame is e-coated,also known as electrocoating or electrophoretic deposition, a process where an electrically charged coating is applied to a conductive metal surface used to apply a durable, even, and corrosion-resistant coating. After e-coating, the steel base is powdercoated for additional protection and improved aesthetic.
• base is mounted on chunky 304 stainless locking wheels
• an aluminium base cover is available to cover the granite slab/steel base for a streamlined look and additional protection.
