When we see a familiar face return to our showroom—sometimes months, and often years later—it tells us one thing: the investment in quality powdercoated aluminium furniture they made with us is holding up, and they have the confidence and assurance to buy from us again.

Back in January 2024, Andrea from Cambridge purchased our Dinner at Ours Outdoor Dining set—complete with a bench and four black Rakino Chairs—destined for their Rotorua bach. The fantastic photo they sent us, featuring their beloved German Shepherd, actually made it onto our website!
When Andrea and her family visited our showroom recently, they were thrilled to see their photo still featured, noting it was lovely to see their girl “living in infamy.” Even better? They confirmed their original set “still looks like new.” That’s the magic of quality materials designed for the NZ climate!
Their latest mission was furnishing their main Cambridge home. They upgraded to our 2.4 M Long Lunch table in bone, paired with six director’s chairs, and topped it off with a 3×3 cantilever umbrella featuring a Sunbrella canopy in Graphite. We’re eagerly waiting for that new setup photo!
We recently welcomed back an existing customer, Rod from St Heliers, who was looking for a centre pole umbrella for a rental property. He chose our 2.1 x 2.1 square Sunbrella centre pole umbrella.
Rod shared that his original purchase—our outdoor lounge suite—has been with him “for years and years and it still looks new.” He confessed that when he first bought it, he bought a replacement seat cushion cover just in case he needed it years down the track. Well, he’s told us that years later, that unused cushion cover is still in its bag! That’s longevity you can count on with durable outdoor furniture.
In September, Peter and his wife stopped by, searching for a cantilever umbrella. I immediately remembered them—we’d delivered their grey 4-piece Bask lounge suite through their back lane several years ago! He was genuinely impressed that we remembered the details of his original purchase from six years ago. (After they left I took a dig through old paper records, and found his paper sales docket- and yes it was 6 years ago)
While in the showroom, we quickly helped him resolve a small issue with his existing set. He then purchased the new umbrella on the spot. Peter told us we were the first stop on their shopping trip, but based on our continued customer service, he stopped looking anywhere else and gave us his business again. Kylie first bought our white Unwind Lounge set with the Sunbrella ‘Linen Look’ fabric for her Coromandel holiday home in October 2024. She loved it so much that she recently returned to purchase the same Unwind range for her Auckland home—this time opting for a charcoal frame.
She even shared a sweet photo of her new furbaby lounging on the furniture at their beach place, which of course, made its way onto our Instagram!
Charlotte bought our Charcoal Long Lunch 2.4 M tables and benches in December 2023. She recently visited and chose the matching Charcoal Unwind corner lounge and a round Stella coffee table, complete with new throw cushions, just in time for their Friday night Halloween party!
Belinda is a testament to switching styles! In Feb 2023, she bought the 2.4M Long Lunch bench and Vondom chairs and our white-framed Bask lounge suite with Sunbrella Nutmeg cushions for her Tekapo holiday property in February 2023. After selling that property, she bought the same Bask lounge suite range again for her new Tairua spot—this time opting for a grey frame and the popular Sunbrella Linen Look fabric.
