Authentic Tectona Grandis Teak

Crafted from genuine Tectona grandis true teak, this table is made to handle New Zealand’s high UV and coastal sea breezes. High in natural resins and oils, authentic teak resists rotting, warping, and splintering far better than generic outdoor timbers. It can be left outdoors in all seasons to weather naturally to a silvery coastal grey, or oiled periodically to preserve its original warm timber grain.

Hidden Aluminium Frame Reinforcement

Small tables often take plenty of knocks, and exposed outdoor timber slats can shift with seasonal humidity. We have reinforced the underside of the tabletop with an engineered, powder-coated aluminium subframe. This hidden skeleton locks each timber slat securely in position, preventing cupping and warping while maintaining a clean, low-profile edge. It gives you the organic warmth of solid timber paired with the lifelong structural reliability of aluminium.

Occasional cleaning with warm, soapy water is all that is required. If keeping the original golden timber appearance is preferred, treat with a quality teak protector once a year; otherwise, enjoy the effortless silver-grey aged look.
